Although I am a new one for foreign trade, however, I like my job. Compared with the domestic trade, I like foreign better. In China, many people sell their products through Chinese social media such as wechat. So do Most of the domestic steel trade company.
I would like to share the differences between wechat sales and export sales.
1 The people we need to serve is different
As a foreign trade clerk, I just need to talk with the boss or the purchaser abroad. However, I have to chat with more than 20 people, and few people buy it.
2 the amount is differ
The quantity of foreign trade order is bigger. Most of it is wholesale. however, most of The wechat sale belongs to personal consumption, the quantity is much less.
3 the factors of purchase is different
The importer will consider the assessment of seller qualification, price comparison, quality evaluation, cargo option balance, risk control, service attitude, etc., which belongs to rational consumption; while the wechat sale is lean to impulse consumption.
4 the communication is differ
We have a lot to chat with customers during the foreign trade .but as a buyer of wechat, they seldom communicate with the seller unless there is some question about the quality.
In conclusion, there is always filled with challenges during the work as a foreign trade clerk. I have to learn more and improve my skills .good reputations and high –quality product makes a successful company.
