This customer is professional tool steel supplier in Ukraine. They supply tool steel both Ukraine and other former Soviet states. They work on government bidding project as well. Their purchasing manager Mr Alex sent inquiry about O1 tool steel, AISI 420 stainless steel, and China standard Cr12MoV cold work tool steel half a year before. Mr Alex felt OTAI Steel price was very attractive, and asked samples for inspection. The samples were tested by national laboratory in Ukraine.
One month later, sample test results come out, both chemical composition and mechanical properties data is good. This moment, I have great confidence this company will become our new customer, price is competitive and quality meet their requirement, next step must be a trail order to start our business.
However, Alex sent an email, ask me provide our tool steel supplier name and MTC of original manufacturer, and told me this is their company policy, they could not buy material with “no brand”.
Actually, this is impossible for our company. As a role in the market, both customer and supplier information is commercial secret.
