1.7225 Alloy structural steel properties is very simliar with GB 42CrMo steel, JIS SCM440 and ASTM 4140 Alloy structural steel. At most work environment, 1.7225 alloy steel is equivalent with 42CrMo, 4140,SCM440 steel.
