Last week , i have received a inquiry from Singapore . This customer need AISI H13 steel round bar diameter from 40 to 350MM . In China market steel , for this kind of hot die steel . All materials are Annealled . Diameter from 10-50MM should be hot rolled , black surface in normal . Diameter from 55-800MM often was Forged , black surface . And the futher processing should be turned .

So this customer’s inquiry will have two different delivery condition . Dia. 10-50MM will be hot rolled , and Dia. 55-350MM will be forged . Some customer if not end user did not know why the difference . The big round bar use forged production process could ensure the quality . The hardness inner more closed to outer . The chemical composition spread more even . After get the reason , the customer will accpet our suggestion happy .
