Forging 1045 carbon steel
Heat to 1050°C for forging, keep to no below 850°C.
1045 steel heat treatment:
Annealing of 1045 steel
Slowly heat to 680-750 °C, Cool in the furnace.
1045 steel Hardening
Heat to 820-860°C, quenching in oil or water.
1045 steel Tempering
After quenching, Re-heat to 550-660°C for Tempering, keep about 2 hours.
