W-NR. 1.3355 is a American high speed alloy steel material grade.it is shock resisting steel. it belong to ASTM A600-1999 standard. UNS Metal Steel Grade T12002, It is a High Speed steel, ASTM 1.3355 is a tungsten type containing cobalt high speed steel, the W18Cr4V red hardness and the high temperature hardness is a little higher, but toughness is low, after quenching, surface hardness is 63-63 HRC.

1.3355 used for high speed cutting tool, machine tool automation, for cutting high strength material.. Our Tool Steel material 100 % ultrasonic tested with good price. Small size steel products make by hot rolled, large size steel products make by forging.

Hardness： Annealing: 269 HB max, Q+T: 63 HRc Min, different hardness according different Tempering temperature.

  • Yield strength:
Heat treatment of W-NR. 1.3355 tool steel
  • Annealing: Annealing temperature/℃: 750~790; After the annealing, degree of hardness ≤HBS: 225
  • Quenching: Hardening temperature/℃: 1277, Quenching in oil or air
  • Tempering: Commonly used drawing temperature/℃:552;  After tempering hardness HRC : 63 HRc Min
  • Normalizing：at Normalizing temperature, then cool in furnace
