Inspection certificate / MTC would be provided together with other shipping documents. Tests such as chemical composition analysis, hardness test, dimensional checking, other kind of properties tests if required, would be all done according to ASTM standard. We only deliver prime top quality 4140 steel plate material to our customer to avoid any quality failure and additional costs.
500 tons daily stock–enough stock sizes for fast delivery
Time is money. As reliable 4140 plate distributor, we stock lots of sizes. It ranges form 3mm to 300mm 4140 plate thickness (1/8 inch to 12 inch). There is width of 2000 to 2300mm and random length, for fast delivery. Usually for order quantity less than 100 tons, it takes 5-7 days to get prepared for loading. If you would need cut to size and delivery flat bar, it takes a little longer to prepare, but within 15-25 days around.
Different condition of 4140 plate available–hot rolled / annealed / Q&T
We have enough 4140 hot rolled plate in stock for different sizes. However, if you need 4140 annealed plate or 4140 quenched and tempered plate (Q&T), we could also arrange heat treat and delivery heat treated 4140 plate with desired hardness and properties. Actually, this is beyond the expectation for one 4140 flat bar distributor.
Deliver finished or semi finished 4140 ground plate
We are equipped to do milling machining and polishing machining, to achieve desired tolerance of size. We are able to deliver 4140 gorund plate directly. As here the labour cost and mass production cost are lower, we could save the final cost for you.
