On the whole ,the prce in Q3 &Q4 keep going down 6.5 % from 636 usd at the July down to 575 USD on Sept.,2019 .
Carbon steel price of C45 hot rolled plate (Q3-2019)
In the part one article, we learned about Carbon steel price of Q1 and Q2 ,2019.
In the first half of the year, The carbon steel price continued to increase slowly. For example, the price of carbon steel C45 (1045 ) ,which it is increased from 585USD from January to 636USD in June.
Now,let us know some information of Q3 carbon steel price .

According to the Graph and tables, we found that the price of carbon steel continued to decline duing Q3 quarter (The rate of price go down 6.5%).
The Reason of Carbon Steel Price go down during Q3 .
The main reason for the decline in prices : the sufficient supply of the market.
Carbon steel experienced a shortage of output in the first quarter, and kept strong demand in the second quarter. In Q3, Steel mills releasae the msaa inventory to stock market. The increase in inventory quantity is greater than the actual demand, and prices have started to decline.
The annual environmental protection inspections and steel plant equipment overhauls were successfully completed. The external factors that affect the stable production capacity of steel plants have been reduced. The production capacity of steel plants in the entire market has a stable and benign production expectation.
Relative to the decline in the US dollar price, there is another influential factor: the increase in the US dollar / renminbi exchange rate, which has caused the US dollar price of carbon steel to fall by 2-3 USD / Ton year-on-year.
