15NiCr13 Alloy Steel 1.5752
15NiCr13 alloy steel is a high-grade carburized steel with a wide application. 15NiCr13 is a remelted nickel chrome molybdenum case hardening steel designed for components with high demand in toughness and core strength.
Compared with 15Cr and 15Cr steel, 15NiCr13 has high strength, plasticity, and hardenability. 15NiCr13 is mainly used to make high load under heavy load conditions. High-strength, high-hardness and high-toughness spindles and shafts with high toughness or impact load, wear-resistant surface, heat-treated deformation, rods and various transmission gears under high-speed and shock loads, adjusting screws, camshafts.

Application
Highly stressed components in automotive construction, and for general engineering purposes, e. g. gears, crankshafts, gear shafts.
Used in the manufacture of various carburizing or carbonitriding parts with high surface hardness, good mechanical properties of the core, heavy load, impact, wear and the like. Steel for critical case hardened pieces requiring good tenacity and strength in the core (average tensile strength of 80-110 kgs/mm2 ) and/or good compressive strength. Its most common applications are for gears, pinions, reducers, speed boxes, cams, bolts and ball joints.
