1.2311 Forged plate with big thickness from 400-600MM . Normally , 1.2311 hot rolled original board the size should be 10-160MM thickness . For hot rolled production process , the width shoud be 2000-2300MM . The delivery conditions should be Pre-hardening .

Last week , i received a new inquiry about 1.2311 plate from Turkey . The customer only tell us he needed thickness from 400-600MM and width 1000-1500MM , length 2000-6000MM . No production process request . No delivery conditions requirement . After check with our stocklist , we found that we need to place order for this so big thickness . And this must be forged . No hot rolled plate could arrived this thickness , and the quality are hard to control for hot rolled . So we suggest the customer to take the forged plate , and Q+T make the quality better for processing .

1.2311 Tool steel is a German Die steel, the steel by “super clean” production process, pre hardened . showing the height of micro pure and excellent homogeneous structure, excellent polishing and light etching engraving. After heat treatment, processing and polishing performance is good, can be carried out, and can be processed, suitable for the surface treatment of chrome, material hardness even (to 400mm thick), good toughness, good mechanical processing performance.
